Alicia Roanne Witt ( Worcester , Massachusetts , August 21 of 1975 ) is an actress United States . It is known for playing Nola Falacci in Law & Order: Criminal Intent .Witt was born in Worcester (Massachusetts), daughter of Diane, a middle school teacher, and Robert Witt, a photographer and teacher of science. He has a brother, Ian. Witt was discovered by David Lynch in the television show That’s Incredible! in 1980 . Lynch chose her to play Alia Atreides the movie Dune . Later, Witt left Hollywood to concentrate on their studies. He was educated at home by their parents.
At age 14, earned his high school diploma. Soon after, he moved to Hollywood with her mother to start an acting career full time. Lynch created the role of Gersten Hayward especially for her in the series Twin Peaks . Also, given a role in Blackout, a segment of the series of HBO Hotel Room.
