Anne Baxter ( May 7 of 1923 – December 12 of 1985 ) was an actress United States won the Academy Award .
Baxter was born in Michigan City, Indiana. Her parents were Kenneth Stuart Baxter and Catherine Wright. His maternal grandfather was architect Frank Lloyd Wright . His father was a prominent executive of the Seagrams Distillery and she grew up in the middle of the sophistication and luxury in New York . At the age of 10 he attended a work of Broadway starring Helen Hayes and was so impressed that he told his family that he wanted to become an actress. At the age of 13 years had acted on Broadway. During this period, Baxter learned the art of acting as a student of the famed teacher Maria Ouspenskaya .
